A tale of two auctions/Happy New Year!

On New Year's day we headed over to my parent's house so that Hubby and Daddy could watch the Clemson game. That left us ladies with time on our hands. My mom mentioned that there were some auctions in town so we left the Peanut with the men folk and headed out. I am not new to auctions. A few years back my mom and I used to sell antiques at one of the local malls. We would frequent the auctions and yard sales and flea markets and estate sales. It is very addicting. The first auction we stopped at was very busy but did not have anything much that we were interested in so we headed to the second. It was more our speed with lots of furniture and interesting smalls. They didn't get to the furniture while I was there but my parents went back later to watch a particular piece my mom wanted. I wish I could have stayed longer because they had some dressers and cabinets that I loved. However I suffer from what lots of people are suffering from this time of year - NoMoneyAtAll syndrome.
